Volunteering

Our Addaction Cornwall volunteer project is a very popular scheme. As part of our commitment to supporting rural Cornish communities, we’re looking for motivated individuals across the county who want to help others improve their lives. Currently we have 73 volunteers working with service users and in our three locality offices.

Volunteers in Cornwall are a much-valued part of the team and participate within most levels of our service provision. We are interested in whatever skills you can bring, and we especially encourage those who’ve had personal experience or have been affected by someone else's drug or alcohol problems to apply.

"The Penzance office is a friendly and welcoming environment situated in the heart of the town. We are able to see people on a drop in basis with the minimum of delay and offer a variety of treatment options in addition to advice  and information as required."

"I find my treatment at addaction has been really helpful to me. I find the staff and my key worker  are very supportive to my needs and I always feel welcome. If it wasn’t for addaction I don’t know where I would be today. Steph."
