Providing treatment and support to people and their families, friends and carers who are affected by alcohol or drugs. People can either self refer or be referred by other professionals. We offer a free and confidential webchat service which includes evening and weekend hours. 

No appointment is needed to access the services, either call us or call in during opening times. Initial assessment is completed the same day. A full comprehensive assessment of  a persons needs will be carried out and clients will be able to access the following services:

  • 1-1 key working appointments and Psycho Social Interventions
  • Alcohol Support Groups
  • Community Detox Group
  • Family, Friends & Carers Support Group
  • Women’s Group
  • MAP Group (Peer Support Mutual Aid Programme)
  • Family Focused Interventions
  • Better Health Unit (BHU)– This service is available during our opening times and offers the following: Needle Exchange, Naloxone Training , Dry Blood Spot Testing for Hepatitis B, Hepatitis C and HIV, Vaccinations, Smoking Cessation, and specific advice and support for steroid users
  • Opiate Substitute Therapy
  • Medications to support recovery and abstinence from drugs & alcohol
  • Recovery Support Services
  • Criminal Justice Interventions
  • Volunteering Opportunities
  • Outreach Services at GP Surgeries throughout North Somerset
