We know that everyone takes different paths on their own recovery journeys, we know there’s not always one right answer, and we want to celebrate that diversity. The theme of this year’s National Conference is Addiction and Mental Health.

This isn’t your average industry conference with a typical agenda: the National Conference is an inspirational and provocative event for people in recovery. We aim to champion how recovery and wellbeing can transform lives, families and communities. Delegates can expect to learn about the latest developments in the substance misuse and mental health field, feel inspired by success stories, engage with others, and get involved in interactive workshops.

Leading figures will share their expertise, but we also want your views. What do you really think about recovery? How can we promote recovery and foster thriving communities? The National Conference will be an opportunity to showcase your opinions and encourage lively debates.

The National Conference also allows drug and alcohol professionals to develop practical, useful knowledge of recovery and treatment which can be applied to their everyday jobs. Health and drug treatment commissioners will have a unique opportunity to learn more about Addaction’s services and pioneering initiatives such as The Amy Winehouse Foundation Resilience Programme, Drink Wise Age Well and Fulfilling Lives.
