Give in your payroll

Give a regular donation, straight from your salary.

Donate via your payroll

Payroll Giving allows you to give a regular donation, straight from your salary.

Join us on our mission to help as many people as possible who are experiencing challenges with drugs, alcohol or mental health.

If your employer, company or personal pension provider runs a Payroll Giving scheme, you can donate straight from your wages or pension. This happens before tax is deducted from your income, meaning it’s hassle free and costs you less to give more.

How much is your donation worth?

The tax relief you get depends on the rate of tax you pay. To donate £10, you pay:

  • £8 if you’re a basic rate taxpayer

  • £6 if you’re a higher rate taxpayer

  • £5.50 if you’re an additional rate taxpayer

The tax relief you get is different if you live in Scotland. To donate £10, you pay:

  • £8.10 if you’re a starter rate taxpayer

  • £8 if you’re a basic rate taxpayer

  • £7.90 if you’re a intermediate rate taxpayer

  • £5.90 if you’re a higher rate taxpayer

  • £5.40 if you’re a top rate taxpayer

How does it work?

You’ll need to contact your employer to find out if they have an existing Payroll Giving scheme. If they don’t, they can choose an agency here.

Donations will then be taken from your salary each month and passed on to WithYou. Your employer can also choose to match fund your donation, doubling your contribution!
