Virgin London Marathon

The biggest race in the country is the Virgin London Marathon, an estimated 36,000 people take part every year, and some of them run to raise money for Addaction.

"A close family friend I grew up with sadly lost his after losing his battle with drug addiction. Watching his family bury him at the tender age of 26 was heartbreaking and if I can help even one family not have to suffer this way then the training will all have been worthwhile".
