How we're funded
Addaction is a charitable organisation that is reliant on a number of sources to fund our invaluable and innovative work with people affected by drug and alcohol misuse.
The majority of our funding arrives through local government contracts, as we provide services on their behalf. We are also funded through private companies, trusts, such as the lottery fund, and by individual donations.
Under the Charities Act 1993, charities with an income in their reporting period exceeding £10,000 must submit a copy of their accounts and a Trustees' Annual Report (TAR) to the Charity Commission. Full details of our accounts are available on the Charity Commission’s website or can be downloaded as a PDF on the right hand side of this page.
