Alcohol action plan 'misses the easy targets'

Responding to the publication of the government’s Youth Alcohol Action Plan today, Addaction Director of Operations Richard McKendrick said:

“While this coordinated approach from government is a positive step forward, this plan is essentially a raft of measures which risks bringing even more young people into a criminal justice system already creaking under its own weight. The UK is already criminalising more young people than virtually any other country in Europe to no positive effect'

London Marathon 2008

Congratulations to all our runners who took part in the London Marathon - a fantastic achievement!

A big thank you also for the fundraising efforts beforehand which means that Addaction will have just over £21,000 to make a difference to the lives of more people who need our help.
