Addaction Croxteth Harm Reduction Service

We provide advice, support, onwards referral and services to individuals, the wider family and community affected by drug misuse.

Our holistic approach providse a range of services including aneedle exchange, health testing advice and referral, specialist help for people using stimulants, referral for prescribing and detox, group work, counselling, family support, parenting courses, support groups, advice on benefits and an active volunteer programme.

We also work closely with other agencies in Liverpool, to ensure people benefit from the wide range of services to them.

Addaction Kirkby

We’re here to help adults who have a problem with drugs

We provide a prescribing service, counselling, family support, a women’s clinic, inpatient and community detox, access and referral to residential rehabilitaion, a needle exchange , relapse prevention, health assessments , Hepatitis B vaccinations, screening for HIV and Hepatitis C and a community outreach service.

Addaction Liverpool Primary Care Substance Misuse Team (Liverpool Shared Care)

We’re here to help people who require substitute medication for a drug problem, and who are receiving that medication via their GP.

Our staff team works across the whole Liverpool boundary alongside 70 local GPs (at approximately 35 locations)

We provide harm minimization advice, referral and signposting to other wrap-around services and also screening for Blood Borne Viruses and give assessments of general healthcare needs.

We also provide ‘shared care’ services for people who are registered with a GP who doesn’t prescribe substitute medication. In these cases, our own specialist GPs can help.

Addaction Liverpool Drug Intervention Programme

We’re here to help adults who have problems with drugs and have involved within the criminal justice system (perhaps they are offending to support their drug use, or their drug use is a significant factor in their offending).

We also offer support to anyone testing positive for drugs on arrest, who may be at risk of custodial remand and in need of treatment.

As part of your treatment we will conduct a full assessment of your needs and help you find the correct support.

We work with over 18 who have problems with drugs. We also provide advice, information and support to their parents, families and carers.

We provide one-to-one and group-work sessions and also provide structured counselling interventions for those who require more in-depth support. We have a needle exchange on-site and also provide an outreach service to ‘hard-to-reach’ groups.
As well as giving you information on drugs and alcohol, we can help you with your self-esteem, confidence and general wellbeing.
We also work closely with other partnership agencies (such as housing) to offer you more comprehensive help. .

Addaction South Knowsley

We’re here to help adults who have a problem with drugs. We’re based in the centre of Huyton.

We provide a variety of services including specialist prescribing, inpatient/community detoxification, family support, relapse avoidance, a needle exchange and an outreach service.

As well as prescribing we offer support for people experiencing problems with stimulant drugs and steroids.

We work closely with local services and offer fast onward referral to health, housing and family services.

Young Addaction Liverpool

We help young people (under 19) who have encountered problems with drugs and alcohol. We also support their parents, families and carers in a friendly, informal way.

We also operate a ‘transitional’ service for people aged 18-24 who require support for any kind of drug use, and for who adult services may not be appropriate.

As well as giving you information on drugs and alcohol, we can help you with your self-esteem, fitness and general wellbeing.

We’re also here to help if you’ve reached a chaotic or crisis-point situation with substance misuse.
